General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

As of February 2026

1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts between us ("Operator") and our customers regarding the use of the "Shootingpark Austria" shooting range in Leobersdorf, as well as all related services (range and space use, training, courses, competitions, events, sale of goods and ammunition, and vouchers) and other services commissioned by customers. If customers refer to their general terms and conditions, this reference is legally irrelevant and does not result in the applicability of their general terms and conditions. In this case, too, only our general terms and conditions apply.

2. Conclusion of contract and payment

Bookings can be made in person on site or by telephone. Services are not currently available for purchase online. By making a booking, the user agrees to comply with all legal regulations and rules specified by us (shooting range rules, competition rules, etc.). Bookings are made on the basis of our current price lists at the time of booking. By submitting a booking request, the customer makes a binding offer. The contract is concluded upon our acceptance or confirmation. Unless otherwise agreed, payment is made in cash, by debit/credit card, or by an accepted means of payment before the start of the service or handover. Payment is a prerequisite for the customer to be able to use our services. Goods remain our property until full payment has been received.

3. Terms of Use

Use of the facility is permitted exclusively within the framework of applicable Austrian law, in particular the Weapons Act. In particular, only reliable persons as defined by the Weapons Act may use the facilities. Our rules of use must be observed. Required weapons licenses must be presented upon request. Persons who are subject to a weapons ban,

  • against whom there is a weapons ban,

Minors may only use the facility under the supervision of their guardians in accordance with legal provisions and our guidelines. The accompanying adult guardian bears sole responsibility
.

4. Shooting range rules and safety

The current shooting range regulations apply to all visitors to the facility. These are displayed on site and are binding. All relevant regulations must be observed during competitions. Our instructions, those of our employees, and those of the shooting supervisor must be followed. Each shooter is responsible for their own behavior on the premises and, in particular, for the shots they fire, and is obliged to ensure that no danger is posed to third parties. Participation in shooting activities requires a suitable physical and mental condition. Participation is prohibited if these requirements are no longer met. Violations of safety rules may result in immediate exclusion from shooting activities, including permanent exclusion.

5. Weapons and ammunition

Only legally permissible, technically sound, and state-of-the-art weapons and ammunition may be used. The operator is entitled to exclude weapons or ammunition from use if there are safety concerns. The facility may only be used in accordance with our specifications. This applies in particular to weapon categories, calibers, disciplines, and conditions of participation.

6. Courses, training sessions, and events

The respective conditions of participation apply to courses and events. The operator is entitled to cancel or postpone events for good cause (e.g., force majeure, safety concerns, technical defects, official orders, or insufficient number of participants). In this case, payments already made will be refunded or credited. Further claims are not possible, to the extent permitted by law.

7. Cancellation policy

Cancellations are free of charge up to 48 hours before the appointment. For cancellations between 48 and 24 hours before the appointment, 50% of the fee will be charged. For cancellations less than 24 hours before the appointment or in case of no-show, the full fee will be charged. The customer can prove that no or less damage has been incurred.

8. Liability

Use of the facility is at your own risk and subject to compliance with safety regulations. The customer is liable for all damage caused by them or their accompanying persons. We and our vicarious agents are only liable for damage caused by intentional or grossly negligent behavior. Liability for personal injury is not limited. Mandatory statutory liability provisions remain unaffected.

9. House rules

The operator exercises domiciliary rights throughout the entire facility. Persons who violate safety rules or other duties of care or who are under the influence of substances that impair their judgment may be expelled from the facility.

10. Gift certificates

Unless otherwise stated, vouchers are valid for three years from the date of issue. Cash payment is not possible.
