Course content:

Module 1 provides you with an overview of all safety-related aspects relevant to IPSC sport and their practical handling. Here you will learn what you need to bear in mind to get through a stage safely, what can get you disqualified, what to look out for with equipment and set-up, what the commands are, how to move safely with the weapon, how an IPSC match works, which points in the rules are important at the beginning, and much more.

The course is half lecture and half practical exercises. Own gun and holster are highly recommended, no ammunition is required, no live firing.

This module is designed to sensitize you to the most important aspects of IPSC so that you know what you need to read carefully in the rules and regulations, how to select and configure your equipment and which practical exercises you can use to prepare yourself in dry-fire training.
