Goal

• You can treat life-threatening gunshot, stab, splinter and cut injuries with modern medical products until the arrival of professional emergency services.

Description

• Even with the best possible compliance with safety regulations, unintentional discharges or life-threatening accidents often occur at the shooting range as well as in the private sphere. This workshop has been specially designed for responsible gun carriers who have recognized that efficient first aid may also be necessary after using a firearm. After reviewing the necessary basic theoretical knowledge of first aid, the focus is on treating gunshot, stab, ricochet and cut injuries. In addition to the conventional products in the first aid kit, modern first aid materials are primarily trained and used.

Adjustment and equipment

• If available, please arrive with unloaded main and secondary weapons as well as shooting range equipment (e.g. weapon belt, vest, chest rig, hearing protection, glasses, etc.). Artificial blood can often not be completely removed from some materials - wear suitable clothing! Please bring an additional set of outer clothing (e.g. long-sleeved shirt or bodysuit and trousers) that can be cut up for training purposes!
