Weapons license

The firearms license in accordance with § 5 of the 2nd Weapons Ordinance is a prerequisite for the application for a firearms possession card or firearms pass and serves as proof of the proper handling of weapons. A weapons psychology certificate is required for the initial application.

Our practical and affordable combination course includes both the certificate and the firearms license and can be completed with little time spent with us.

Your path to a gun ownership card:

• Minimum age 21 years (exceptions possible for hunting or sporting activities).
• Weapons psychology certificate (not required for holders of a valid hunting license)
• Weapons license (not required if proof of regular use of a service, hunting or sporting weapon is provided).
• Application to the responsible firearms authority (main residence)
